What are “fat injections?”

That being said, this is a non-invasive, minimalistic procedure. There is minimal swelling, the process only takes about 15-20 minutes, and you should be able to walk out into public immediately after your appointment.

At Captivating Aesthetics, the first step is to book a consultation with our team. During this consultation a brief medical and relevant aesthetic history will be taken. You will have the chance to discuss your treatment concerns, your treatment goals, your fears and concerns in regard to the actual treatment itself.
A detailed series of photographs will be taken before and at every treatment to show your baseline and the progression towards your end goal.
Same day treatment is often possible and is usually discussed at the time of booking the consultation.
Lypolysis can safely be used in combination with Captivating’s Diet clinic and skinny shots, injectables, RF skin tightening, thread-lift, lasers and Fit-drip or SKIN-IV. The combinations we offer at Captivating are endless.
Depending on personal preference and time constraint, you may want to apply a topical anaesthetic before. You will receive specific guidelines if this is the case.
Before the injection process, the treatment area will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared. The treatment and non-treatment zones will be marked out. A grid will be established. Icing or injectable freezing is done, depending on personal preference. Injections are done in the treatment zone. The actual injection component takes only a few minutes.
You will also receive specific after-care directions of which the most important is hydration, avoiding direct sun exposure and icing the area for swelling.

Essentially you can go on with life as normal.
Most of the swelling settles between day 3-7. If there was any small needle entry bruising, this can be covered up with concealer. Bumps and lumps are commonly felt and settles with time.
