Intimate Wellness and Health Laser Therapy
A superior solution for Intimate Health
What are Laser Therapies for Intimate Health?
Fotana IncontiLase / IntimiLase / ProlapsLase / RenovaLase are minimally-invasive Er:YAG laser therapies available to treat stress urinary incontinence, vaginal relaxation syndrome, pelvic organ prolapse as well as vaginal atrophy.
How does the Fotana laser work?
The Fotana Laser thermally affects the vaginal tissue, stimulating collagen remodelling and the synthesis of new collagen-rich fibres in the vaginal mucosa/vestibule/urethral orifice areas as well as the collagen-rich endopelvic fascia . The final results of collagen neogenesis and remodelling is tightening of the vaginal canal, increased epithelial thickness as well as vascularization of the lamina propria. These results lead to subsequently greater support of the bladder and rectum, along with a reduction of symptoms that includes dryness, itching, irritation and dyspareunia (painful intercourse). The treatments are incision-less and minimally-invasive with little downtime.
The unique benefits of the Fotana Laser therapies are that they are non-ablative, minimally invasive, virtually painless and represents a safer, faster and more patient friendly solution that avoids the undesirable complications present with other vaginal tightening methods. It does not involve cutting, ablation, bleeding, or suturing and the recovery is extremely quick without the need for the use of analgesics or antibiotics.
