Process & Treatment
Microlaser Peels can be done individually or are often packaged into three sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. What to avoid pre-treatment will be thoroughly discussed during your consultation.
Immediately after the session you will see some redness, swelling and peeling. In the days following this will dissipate and you will be left with fresh radiant skin!
At Captivating Aesthetics, the first step for any new patient is to book a consultation with our team experts. During this consultation a brief medical and relevant aesthetic history will be taken. You will have the chance to discuss your treatment concerns, your treatment goals, your fears and concerns in regards to the actual treatment itself. Your full treatment plan, along with expected maintenance will then be discussed.
A detailed series of photographs will be taken at every visit to compare your results to your baseline pictures, as well as monitoring progression of results.
After booking our friendly team will send you a link to our patient portal, which allows you to complete the necessary forms in the comfort and safety of your own home. Once you arrive for your appointment, our front office team will get a set of baseline photos, and your treatment technician for the appointment will meet with you. They will ensure you understand the procedure, review the consent forms you filled out, as well as answer any questions you have prior to the start of the appointment. We do apply topical freezing for this procedure to ensure your level of comfort and ease. Once the freezing has had sufficient time to take full effect ( usually 40 minutes to an hour), the actual treatment is a fairly quick process. You will be provided with the needed eye protection, and you will be guided throughout the process. We often suggest adding PRP ( platelet rich plasma) to your treatment to decrease healing time and ensure optimum results. After the treatment a soothing and cooling skin mask will be applied, and growth factors will be applied to the area.
After the treatment the technician will go over post care instructions which will include not using any retinol and adjusting your skincare routine for several days following the procedure.
Mineral makeup can be applied a few days following the procedure.
Prices range from $500 *per treatment, however package pricing is available. *(prices may range when adding PRP or other growth factor stimulators)
